We are the Marr Family from Waterford, Ontario, Canada.
Our boat Messenger is a French-built 1983 Beneteau First 38. We purchased Messenger in 2005 from Detroit and have been sailing her on Lake Erie out of Port Dover Ontario every summer from the Port Dover Yacht Club.
In 2010 Scott received approval for a leave of absence from Ontario Power Generation where he works as a contract administrator - he is a mechanical engineer. Lisa is a journalist part-time with The Hamilton Spectator. Our kids are Reg, 16, Aidan nearly 14 and Elizabeth-Anne, 11.
Lisa is also the program coordinator of the Port Dover Yacht Club Sailing School (pdycsailingschool.com)
